Our Space
Smarty Pie Childcare is a licensed Family Child Care Home. We have a dedicated space designed with young children in mind. We pride ourselves on a clean and healthy environment that allows for exploration and creativity.
At Smarty Pie we believe that sunshine and fresh air are essential to growing healthy minds and bodies. Children have daily access to an outdoor space where we can run, play, dig and laugh.

Primary Caregiver/ Owner
I received my Bachelors Degree from the University of South Florida with substantial coursework in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have completed additional training and certificates related to: child growth and development, guidance, early learning, safety, curriculum implementation and more. I maintain all required background checks and above and beyond the annual training requirements for licensed childcare providers.
With over 17 years in early childhood education, my experience includes private, corporate, military, and public school settings. I have held a variety of positions throughout my career; from classroom teacher, program manager, trainer and mentor for care giving staff, and organizational level leadership and administration.
I am most proud of my hard work as a mother of three and the time I have spent caring for and teaching children.
